GCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

The GCET 2019 Eligibility Criteria is very much important to note down and every candidate should match their criteria with the official eligibility. This will allow them to understand whether they are eligible to sit for the exam or not. Not every candidate gets the opportunity to sit for the exam and attempt to get a sit-in some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in Goa. Therefore, aspirants who want to get the opportunity will need to match their eligibility criteria without any issues.

Bachelor in Engineering courses The candidates must have successfully cleared the class 10+2 examination from a recognized and approved institution. All the candidates are also required to have a compulsory subject combination comprising – Physics, Mathematics and English. The additional subjects may consist of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology/ Computer Science. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 45% marks in their board exams. Candidates belonging to the Reserved categories need to have 40% marks.
Bachelor in Architecture The candidates must have successfully cleared the class 10+2 examination from a recognized and approved institution. All the candidates are also required to have a subject combination comprising Mathematics as the compulsory subject. The general category candidates will need to have 50% minimum aggregate marks. Candidates of the reserved categories will need 45% aggregate marks.
Bachelor in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery All the candidates are also required to have a subject combination comprising Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects. The candidates must have successfully cleared the class 10+2 examination from a recognized and approved institution. The candidate must have secured 50% marks in aggregate and the reserved categories of the student will need 45%.
B. Sc. in Nursing All the candidates are also required to have a subject combination of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects. The candidates will also be required to have at least 45% minimum marks in their board examination and the candidates of the reserved categories will need 40%.

GCET 2019 Registration

The registration process for the GCET 2019 exam is very much important for every student. Without a proper registration and submission of the application form, the students will not be able to procure there admit card. Consequently, without the admit card or the hall ticket they will not be allowed to sit for the examination. GCET 2019 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern is a very important aspect that should not be overlooked. Every candidate needs to have a clear idea about the format of the question paper and how they are going to answer them. MEDIUM The GCET 2019 Examination will be conducted in the medium of English.
MODE The GCET 2019 exam will be conducted in the pen and paper mode at different exam centres.
NUMBER OF QUESTIONS There will be 75 questions asked from each and every subject. Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and English are the 5 main subjects with 75 questions each.
QUESTION TYPE There will be multiple choice questions or MCQ. Each question will carry different options of the answer.
TOTAL DURATION candidates will get 2 hours or 120 minutes to complete the GCET 2019 question paper.
MARKING SCHEME Every correct answer will carry 1 mark each and there will not be any negative marking for a wrong answer.
