Tripura University Courses and Fees Structure
Tripura University courses are offered at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral level of study. There are a total number of 42 courses, that are currently functioning under the University including certificate courses, undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma courses and Ph.D courses. Along with these, Tripura University distance education courses are also provided in several subjects.
Courses offered by Tripura University at the undergraduate level are B.VOC and B.Lib.I.Sc. courses. It offers Bachelor of Vocational Program with specializations in Rubber Technology and Film and Video Production with a duration of three years and one year, respectively.
Tripura University courses are offered at the Postgraduate level include M.A., M.Sc., M.Com, M.Tech, MBA, MJMC, M.P.Ed, M.Lib.I.Sc., M.Pharm, MFA, MRDM, MCA and LLM courses. Besides, it also offers M.A courses with specializations in Bengali, Hindi, English, Sanskrit, History, Kokborok, Political Science, Psychology etc and M.Sc. courses with specializations in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Human Physiology, Microbiology etc with a duration of two years. At this level, the university also offers M.Tech with the specializations in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering for a duration of two years.
Tripura University courses are also offered at the Doctoral level of study. It is the PhD with specializations in Pharmacy, Molecular Biology & Bioinformatics, Mathematics, Rural Management & Development, Sanskrit, Journalism and Mass Communication etc with a duration of three years. Along with these, it also offers integrated courses in B.A.+B.Ed and B.Sc.+B.Ed with a duration of five years.
Apart from these, Tripura University has a postgraduate diploma course with specializations in Bamboo Cultivation and Resource Utilization, Women’s Studies, Tribal and Ethnic Studies, Tribal Language, Finance & Taxation, Translation with a duration of one year. Further, it offers Mizo Certificate, Garo Certificate, Kokborok Certificate and Functional Hindi Certificate courses for a duration of six months.
