Admission to the Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Doctoral level courses is done based on the marks scored in the merit-based entrance examination followed by a selection process.

However, all candidates applying at the university must meet the eligibility criteria to be eligible to apply for their preferred courses. Tripura University online admission can be done from the Tripura University admission portal. 

Admission Highlights

• Tripura University admission to the Undergraduate level is done based on the marks scored in the TUET or Tripura University Entrance Test. All applicants must pass the HSC examination with the relevant subjects from a recognised board to be eligible to apply. Also, the candidates who have completed NSQF Level four can apply. 
• Tripura University admission 2019 to the Postgraduate level courses, candidates are required to appear in the TUET or Tripura University Entrance Test, conducted by Tripura University every year. All candidates should pass a graduation degree in the relevant stream from a recognised university to be eligible to apply for the course. Tripura University online application form can be downloaded from its official website. 
• For Tripura University PhD admission, candidates are required to appear in the Research Eligibility Test or RET examination. Candidates having a valid NET or SET or GATE score can also apply for the course. Candidates having a Master degree in the relevant stream from a recognised university is eligible to apply for the course.
