Shiv Nadar University – [SNU], Greater Noida Overview Scholarships

High potential academic achievers are acknowledged by the university by receiving generous scholarships that cover part/ full expenses for the entire duration of the program. The opportunity of ‘Research and Teaching Assistantship’ allows students at the graduate level, to get the opportunity to delve deeper into their disciplines and teach the undergraduates. They are offered several features like stipends, hostel fee waivers, and scholarships. This motivates and allows students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds to afford an education. SNU provides the following scholarships:

Gifted Student Scholarship: The outstanding academic rank holders to study at the Shiv Nadar University under the Gifted Student Scholarship. The recipients of the Scholarship gain direct admission to the program of their choice. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

• Top 100 rank holders in Grade 12 from the CBSE, ICSE, and Cambridge Board of Education
• IB grade points 42 and above
• Top 100 rank holders in Grade 12 from other State Education Boards
• INSPIRE fellows awarded Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE)
• JEE (Advanced) top 500 rank holders
• Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) Fellowship holders (Only for School of Natural Sciences Programs)

Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: The University extends its support to financially-constrained students with academic strengths and potential. The students with 92% and above score in Grade 12 Board examinations with a family income below INR 12,00,000 a year.

Rural Scholarship: SNU covers the academic and living expenses in full for high-potential students from economically weak backgrounds, whose family income may be below INR 3,00,000 a year. 

Sports Scholarship: Shiv Nadar University offers up to 100% Sports Scholarship to winners or participants at international, national, state-level tournaments in respective sports/games, recognized by national/international sports bodies. It is mandatory for candidates to qualify for the Physical Fitness Test and Sport-specific tests conducted by the Department of Physical Education and Sports at the University to avail of Sports Scholarship.
