PDEU Gandhinagar Scholarships

PDEU Gandhinagar Scholarships are offered at Undergraduate, PostGraduate and Doctoral level. The college mainly offers scholarships in the form of teaching assistantships or fellowship. Some of the popular financial aids provided by the institute given below.

1.Undergraduate level Scholarships –

• Merit Scholarship:

1. Full Tuition Fee Waiver is given to the candidates applying to B.tech Computer Engineering: 6 Students with JEE rank 1-25,000 and 6 students with ACPC rank 1-400, 
2. Candidates applying to B.tech Information & Communication Technology – 6 students with JEE rank 1-25,000 and 6 students with ACPC rank 1-400.
3. Candidates applying to B.tech Civil Engineering – 6 students with JEE rank 1-30,000 and 6 students with ACPC rank 1-700.
4. Candidates applying to B.tech Mechanical Engineering: 6 students with JEE rank 1-30,000 and 6 students with ACPC rank 1-700.
5. Candidates applying to B.tech Electrical Engineering: 6 students with JEE rank 1-30,000 and 6 students with ACPC rank 1-700.
6. Candidates applying to B.tech Chemical Engineering 6 students with JEE rank 1-30,000 and 6 students with ACPC rank 1-700.
7. Candidates applying to B.tech Petroleum Engineering students with JEE rank 1-30,000 and 6 students with ACPC rank 1-700.

• Merit cum Means Scholarship: 

1. Full Tuition fee waiver for the candidates applying to B.tech in Computer Engineering with JEE rank 1-25,000 for 2 students and with APAC rank 1-400 for 2 students.
2. Candidates applying to B.tech in Information & Communication Technology with JEE rank 1-25,000 for 2 students and with APAC rank 1-400 for 2 students.
3. Candidates applying to B.tech in Civil Engineering with JEE rank 1-30,000 for 2 students and with APAC rank 1-700 for 2 students.
4. Candidates applying to B.tech in Mechanical Engineering with JEE rank 1-30,000 for 2 students and with APAC rank 1-700 for 2 students.
5. Candidates applying to B.tech in Electrical Engineering with JEE rank 1-30,000 for 2 students and with APAC rank 1-700 for 2 students.
6. Candidates applying to B.tech in Chemical Engineering with JEE rank 1-30,000 for 2 students and with APAC rank 1-700 for 2 students.
7. Candidates applying to B.tech in Petroleum Engineering with JEE rank 1-30,000 for 2 students and with APAC rank 1-700 for two students.

• Merit cum Means Scholarship: 

The half Tuition Fee waiver is offered to the students whose total annual family income from all sources should not be exceeding Rs. 8.00 Lacs per annum.

The scholarship covers 50% of the total Tuition Fees from the 2nd Academic Year. The Scholarship Committee, keeping in view the relative merits offers scholarships to top seven meritorious students in each branch of B.Tech.

Additionally, there are also cash prizes to encourage B. Tech. students to perform better in academics.

2.Postgraduate level Scholarships –

Candidates having a valid GATE score and admitted in Phase I only receives Rs. 12,400/- p.m. as a fellowship. Also, Candidates admitted under Phase-II Non-GATE category admission process is given Rs. 8000/- p.m. as a fellowship.

However, the selection of candidates is done as per the admission-merit and eligible candidates should have secured minimum 50% score overall for the parameters considered for the admission merit.

These students have to undertake 8 to 10 hours per week towards academic or co-academic workload as assigned by the University.
