NIT Trichy Campus

The NIT Trichy campus spans 800 acres along the Trichy-Tanjore national highway, approximately 17 km from Trichy railway junction. It features separate buildings dedicated to each department.

The administrative hub, known as the clock tower of NIT Tiruchirappalli, houses offices for directors, deans, and various administrative personnel.

The Central Library boasts a collection of over 250,000 documents, including technical books, reports, audio-video cassettes, journals, and standards. Some highlights include:

NIT Trichy Hostels: NIT Trichy accommodates 6,966 UG, PG students, and research scholars across 22 boys’ and 6 girls’ hostels. A new hostel is currently under construction, increasing total capacity to 7,472. Hostels are managed by elected student committees and wardens, equipped with amenities like intercoms, aquaguards, and televisions.
