When we get information bulletin 2022-24 for nit trichy?

In the “Category” which option to select as Options are OC, Gen-ews, OBC-NCL, SC and ST. I am general and also not EWS.
Which option should I choose? Also what does OC mean?
Also can I get the placement details of last year?
General EWS, non engg 70.83%ile. acads 9/8/8. Should I apply ?
OC means open category/general. Since you are general and not under EWS you should choose OC.

Every year cutoff varies. It depends on the candidates profile. So you can apply.

Last year average package was 8 lakhs and the placement details will be updated soon in the website.

What was the cut off for general category last year? And it will fall around what percentile this year?

Can BA(general) student apply with 85 percentile? Also I’ve written 8.3 (in terms of CGPA) in “%marks/grade” section in 10th class details because it was written in information brochure that “conversion of CGPA to percentage and vice versa is not allowed”. Is it okay?

For general category the eligible criteria is full time regular undergraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA. Yes, you can write your CGPA in %marks/grade section.

Can I proceed for admission?
Is there any sectional cutoff need to be reach?
The OBC-NC students with the eligible criteria of full time regular undergraduate degree in any discipline with minimum of 60% or 6.5 CGPA can apply. Sectional cutoff is not considered.
