Being one of the top class engineering colleges, NIT Uttarakhand always tries to achieve a successful rate in placement. NIT Uttarakhand placements drive generally witnesses some of the reputed companies of the country.

The dedicated Training and Placement cell maintains a good relationship with the major corporate bodies. The companies have faith in the level of education the institute provides to its students and the excellent skills of the students.

NIT Uttarakhand has its own process for placements. The T&P cell invites the companies to send the eligibility criteria. According to that, the college sends the profiles of the eligible students to the companies.

The next process comprises of the company visits to the campus for pre-placement talks and selects the candidates as per the company norms.

In the year 2018-19, NIT Uttarakhand witnessed a great placement record. Out of a total number of 195 eligible students, 90 students got placed in many reputed companies in different sectors.  Computer Science and Engineering is the highest recruiting domain with the placement of 42 students.

The average package of NIT Uttarakhand was 6.8 lakhs per annum. Some of the recruiters are Bharat Electronics, BHEL, BSNL, Samsung, THDC India Limited, Siemens, GE Energy, HCL, HP Education Services, ONGC, L and T Infotech, NTPC etc. NIT Uttarakhand M.Tech Placement is also decent.
