NIFT Jodhpur Admission Process

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Jodhpur is one of the 16 fashion technology institutes in India. NIFT Jodhpur offers a numerous number of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fashion technology. There is four specialisation programme at UG level with B.Des programme. In PG courses candidates can apply for the Master in Fashion Management (MFM) program. NIFT courses are listed in the table below and the eligibility criteria are detailed below. NIFT Jodhpur  Admission Highlights

  • The selection process for UG is based on the entrance tests conducted by NIFT, India. It is a three-step process starting from Creativity Ability Test (CAT) followed by General Ability Test (GAT) and situation test. The applicants applying for B.Des program must qualify the situation test. The applicants having the NIFT eligibility test considered as eligible for the counselling process. The students can fill up the NIFT application form 2019 to apply for the courses.  
  • NIFT Jodhpur has a capacity of 120 seats for B.Des and B.FTech courses. The selected students are evaluated on the basis of entrance test results and other parameters. Candidates applying for the UG courses must have qualified 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with minimum aggregate marks of 50%. Applicants need to qualify 10+2 from science stream with Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subject for the admission in B.FTech program.  
  • NIFT, Jodhpur offers postgraduate courses in Fashion Management. The eligibility for candidates applying for masters degree is a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or an undergraduate diploma in the design of three years duration from NIFT or NID ( National Institute of Design). All candidates required to pass B.FTech, B.Des or B.Tech to be eligible for this course.  
  • For the postgraduate admission, applicants should have an aggregate of 50% at graduation level. Common Entrance Exam for Design (CEED) and NIFT are the national level entrance test for postgraduate courses. Applicants who secure eligible marks in the following exam are eligible for the counselling process. Candidates have to qualify through group discussion and personal interview round for the admission.
