National Institute of Engineering Mysore is established in the years 1946. The institute provides engineering courses in undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level. All the courses are designed in such a way that it gives the students an overall idea about all the basic technical subjects and make them confident about their specialized subjects.
NIE Mysore conducts undergraduate Bachelor of Engineering programme in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science and Engineering, Industrial and Production Engineering with a duration of four years and a fee of Rs. 76,360.
The college also provides a full-time Master of Technology programme in Structural Engineering, Power Systems, Production Engineering Systems, Computer Networking and Engineering, Hydraulics Engineering, Industrial Automation, Information Technology, Machine Design, Nano Technology with a duration of two years.
The fee M.Tech courses in NIE Mysore is Rs. 1.11 lakhs for the entire course. NIE Mysore also offers a full-time three-year PhD programme in engineering with NIE Mysore fees of Rs. 75 thousand.
