Academic performance is crucial and accounts for 25% of the admission decision. SC, ST, and OBC candidates must meet the qualifying criteria set by AICTE.
Please note that while work experience is preferred by the institute, it is not mandatory for admission.
MYRA School of Business PGDM Selection Criteria
- The school evaluates students based on various criteria, including academic performance in 10th, 12th, and graduation, entrance exam or MET score, work experience (if applicable), case study, and involvement in extracurricular activities and achievements.
- Candidates who meet a threshold of 10 points are shortlisted and invited for one or two rounds of personal, telephonic, or Skype interviews.

Academic Profile
The Office of Admissions assesses the applicant’s academic records and achievements to determine eligibility for the preferred program. Academic performance accounts for 25% of the admission decision and is a crucial prerequisite for program enrollment.
Entrance Test
The Office of Admissions also assesses the applicant’s performance in any of the recognised entrance exams (CAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE, NMAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA). If an applicant lacks an entrance exam score or does not meet the qualifying criteria in any of the recognised exams, they are encouraged to take the MYRA Entrance Test (MET) online.
The MET is an online examination that can be taken from any location at any time. It comprises 50 questions and has a duration of 60 minutes, with each question carrying one point. The test includes 20 questions on quantitative aptitude, 20 questions on verbal ability, and 10 questions on logical reasoning, without any negative marking. The entrance exam score is mandatory for application to full-time programs and accounts for 25% of the admission decision.
Case Analysis
Upon meeting the academic and entrance test score requirements, applicants receive a one-page case study on a ‘business model’ tailored to their chosen program. They are then required to present their interpretation and analysis, followed by a case analysis interview. This evaluation process is crucial as it allows the Office of Admissions to assess the candidate’s thought process, critical thinking abilities, and alignment with the program. Case analysis accounts for 25% of the admission decision.
Admission Interview
Candidates who meet the requirements based on their academic profile, entrance test scores, and case analysis are extended invitations for an admission interview, which may be conducted either online or on-campus. This interview holds significant importance in determining admission to the programs, as it accounts for 25% of the admission decision. During the admission interview, candidates’ suitability for the program is evaluated based on their background, aspirations, and alignment with the program’s objectives. Depending on the candidate’s profile, one or two rounds of admission interviews may be conducted.
