MIT Pune Result and Cutoff
MIT Pune offers admissions on the basis of marks scored in entrance exams like JEE Main and Advanced, MHT CET, GATE and Maharashtra LEET. The cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks required to be scored by the candidate to be selected.
MIT Pune results of the selection are released after the exam results are announced. The MIT Pune cutoff is decided after the results are published and the overall performance of the test has been evaluated.
The Cutoff differs for every category of students and the specialization courses they are opting for. It is decided by a number of factors, primarily, the number of students, the number of seats, the performance of the students in the test and finally the cutoff trends of the previous years.
The cutoff is generally expressed in ranks for the JEE exams and its equivalents. For the year 2018, the cutoff rank for MHT CET was highest for Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and was followed closely by Civil Engineering for B.tech courses.
