MIT Pune Admission Process

MIT Pune admissions are held on the basis of marks scored in competitive exams. MIT Pune admission procedure follows the method of shortlisting candidates on the basis of their scores and allotting seats to them through counselling.

The institution provides courses on the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate level in engineering and technology. Apart from the engineering courses, the institution also provides MBA courses. MIT Pune MBA admission procedure is based on marks scored in CAT exams or its equivalent.

MIT Pune Admission Highlights

For admission in B.tech courses, the candidate needs to have JEE or MHT CET exam qualifying scores to get selected.
For admission in B.tech lateral course, marks in Maharashtra LEET is considered.
For admission in M.tech courses, the candidates are selected on the basis of GATE scores followed by a personal interview.
For admission in the PhD course, the candidates need to qualify for PET and Personal Interview conducted by the institute.

UG Course

On UG level, B.tech and B.tech Lateral programme are available on courses like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering etc. MIT Pune eligibility for Btech is that the candidate should pass 10+2 with minimum 50% marks with Physics and Maths as a compulsory subject.

On PG level, M.tech courses are available in specializations like Civil – Construction management, Civil – Structure, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics – Digital System Engineering etc. MIT Pune eligibility from M.tech courses is a bachelors degree in a relevant discipline with 50% marks from a recognized University. On the doctorate level, a Ph.D course is available in Engineering. For being eligible to the course, the candidate needs to have a masters degree in relevant discipline with 55% marks or equivalent GPA.
