Magadh University Campus Facilities 

Magadh University address is located in Bodh Gaya in the Indian state of Bihar. It is the largest university of Bihar. Magadh University campus is spread over 460 acres of land situated amidst the spiritual breeze of the Bodhi Tree that enlightens Lord Buddha.

The campus is comprised of library, several departmental rooms, hostels, health centre-cum-dispensary, bank and sports complex. 

The university campus has a multi-storied central library called the Mannu Lal Central Library that is situated beside the other departmental libraries.

The central library is stocked with a large number of manuscripts, 162,245 books, a wide range of books on ancient and modern literature, national and international journals, e-database and other reading materials, which cater to the needs of all the students of the university.

Apart from that, research facilities and labs are available for the Department of Science including Psychology and Geography department. The university labs are well-equipped with modern research equipment.

The university has eight hostels within the campus with accommodating capacity for 1,500 students. The hostel rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable and the hostel mess serves good quality food to the students.

There are a number of recreational facilities available for the hostellers like a well equipped Gymnasium, a Yoga Center, a common room provided with televisions and others.

There is a health centre-cum-dispensary within the campus which provides proper medical facilities to the students, teachers and other staff in an emergency situation. Along with these, there is a branch of the Central Bank of India along with an ATM within the campus.

The university also offers modern sports facilities to the students. Therefore, a  large sports complex is built within the campus with all sorts of outdoor and indoor games facilities, particularly athletic events.

The sports facilities provided by the university include table tennis, wrestling, football, cricket, boxing, powerlifting, basketball, volleyball, badminton, weight Lifting, kabaddi, kho-kho, archery, chess and many others.
