Jadavpur University Courses Admissions 2024

Jadavpur University Admission 2024 Updates:

B.Sc (NEP) Orientation: The university is conducting the orientation program for first-year B.Sc (NEP) students on August 01 at 12:00 Noon in their respective departments. Attendance is mandatory for all newly admitted students.
PhD (Science) Admissions: The list of qualified candidates from the interview round has been released. Qualified candidates must submit the consent form (Annexure – II), duly forwarded by the Head of the Department, by August 08, 2024, to be eligible for admission.
MA and M.Sc Applications: Applications are invited for the MA (Day) course from internal candidates and the M.Sc (Day) course from external candidates. The deadline for submitting the application form for both courses is August 12, 2024. External candidates applying for MA (Day & Evening) courses must submit their applications by August 01.
Engineering and Technology Counselling: The second round of counselling for the Faculty of Engineering and Technology will take place from August 01 to 03 at the TEQIP BUILDING, 3rd floor, near Gate No. 3 of the university campus. Selected candidates must report as per the schedule.
MA Journalism and Mass Communication: Applications are open for the MA Journalism and Mass Communication course for the 2024-25 session. The deadline for online application submission is August 13, with the deadline for online admission test fee submission on August 14, 2024.
UG Arts Courses (Sports Category): A list of provisionally selected candidates for the 4-year UG Arts courses under the sports category has been released. Admissions for these candidates will be conducted from July 29 to August 02, 2024.
M.P.Ed Admissions: The online application portal for the M.P.Ed course for the 2024-25 session is open. The last date for online submission of the application form is July 29, 2024, with the application fee submission deadline on July 30, 2024, via the SBI I-Collect System (using Net Banking/ Credit Card/ Debit Card). The provisional merit list will be released on August 14, 2024.

Jadavpur University currently offers over 20 recognised courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. The university’s flagship program is the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, renowned for its nearly 100% placement rate each year.
