IFMR GSB Integrated MBA (BBA + MBA Integrated Programme)
IFMR GSB offers a five-year integrated Management program, blending IFMR’s five decades of business education expertise with Krea University’s innovative liberal education approach. Upon completing three years, students earn a BBA degree, and after five years, they receive an Integrated MBA.
This program is thoughtfully designed to instill values, foster essential skills, and build a strong knowledge base for aspiring entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Students have the flexibility to exit the program at various stages:
- Exit after three years with a BBA degree
- Exit after four years with a BBA Honours degree
- Complete five years to earn an Integrated MBA degree
Additionally, students can choose to take a year-long sabbatical between the BBA and MBA to gain industry experience, work in family businesses, or pursue entrepreneurial ventures.
Eligibility
- Date of Birth Requirement: Applicants must be born on or after January 1, 2006.
- Educational Background: Candidates must have studied in English Medium and secured at least 60% overall in both Class X and Class XII. Additionally, they must have scored at least 60% in Mathematics in Class X. Eligible boards include IB, IGCSE, ICSE, CBSE, and State Boards.
- IB-Specific Criteria: Students who were not assessed by the listed boards in Class X and are directly pursuing the IB four-year program after middle school are not eligible for 2025 admissions unless they have already completed IB in 2024 or earlier. Such candidates must have obtained a minimum grade of 4 in Mathematics.
- Class X Marks Consideration: Marks will be assessed based on Mathematics, English, and three other non-overlapping subjects (one of which can be a language other than English). If more than three additional subjects were taken, the best three will be considered along with Math and English, ensuring the 60% eligibility requirement.
- Class XII Marks Consideration: Marks will be evaluated in three subjects, excluding English or any other language (Mathematics is optional but can be included). English/Language marks will not be considered while checking for the 60% eligibility criterion.
- Alternative Qualification via SAT: Applicants who did not score 60% in Mathematics in Class X in any of the mentioned boards can qualify through a minimum SAT Math score of 600.
Selection Process
- Candidates will be selected based on their scores from the IPMAT, SAT, or Krea Aptitude Test, as well as online personal interviews.
- Personal interviews will evaluate candidates’ alignment with the program’s objectives.
- A merit list will be prepared based on overall performance and any feedback from the interview panel.
- Admission offers will be made subject to the number of available seats.
