IME IIT Kanpur Scholarship

IME IIT Kanpur Scholarships are offered to eligible students based on different criteria. Here are the details of the various scholarships available:

• Merit cum Means Scholarship:

  • Eligibility: Students other than SC/ST category with annual parental income less than 4.5 lakhs.
  • Benefits: Full-tuition waiver and a monthly pocket allowance of Rs. 1000 for the program’s duration.

• INSPIRE Scholarship:

  • Eligibility: Students of B.S programs within the ALL INDIA RANK (AIR) 10,000 as per Common Merit LIST (CML).
  • Benefits: Annual scholarship of Rs. 30,000 per semester and a research grant of Rs. 20,000.

• Donor Scholarships:

  • Eligibility: Students from poor and needy families.
  • Benefits: Scholarship amount varies based on donor contributions.

• Free Basic Mess Scholarship:

  • Eligibility: SC/ST category students with annual parental income less than 4.5 lakhs.
  • Benefits: Free basic mess bill coverage and a pocket allowance.

• Sports Scholarship:

  • Eligibility: IIT Kanpur students demonstrating leadership in sports-related activities.
  • Benefits: Maximum 20 scholarships per year, amounting to Rs. 1,000/- per month for 9 months.
