During IIT Gandhinagar’s 2024 placement season, The IT and Software sector emerged as the leading recruiter, accounting for 33% of total student placements. According to unofficial online sources, as of May 4, 2024, the BTech CSE batch recorded a placement rate of 69.39%. The average and median salary packages for the BTech CSE batch stood at INR 27.73 LPA and INR 20.63 LPA, respectively. Out of 49 registered BTech CSE students, 34 secured placements.
For the MTech CSE batch, the average and median salary packages were INR 21.05 LPA and INR 19.5 LPA, respectively. Among the 28 registered MTech CSE students, 16 successfully secured placements in reputed companies.
