The IIT Madras Placement Report for 2025 is yet to be released. However, during the 2024 placement season, the highest package offered reached an impressive INR 4.3 Crore per annum. In the 2023 placement drive, the institute received a total of 1612 job offers, including 407 Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs).

Top recruiters included Amazon, Jaguar, Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Qualcomm, American Express, Citi Bank, Nvidia, Mastercard, Airbus, Microsoft, Apple, HSBC, ITC, Intel, Samsung, Google, Cisco, EY, and Flipkart.

The IIT Madras MBA Placements 2024 report indicates that the highest and average packages offered to MBA students were INR 29.65 LPA and INR 16.93 LPA, respectively. Additionally, 37% of the MBA batch received Pre-Placement Offers (PPOs) or Pre-Placement Interviews (PPIs).

According to the final report for IIT Madras Placements 2023, 1,612 students received placement offers from 480 top companies. For UG courses, the highest package remained INR 1.31 CPA, with more than 154 students receiving offers above INR 30 LPA. The highest package for M.Tech in 2023 was INR 54.21 LPA.
