IIT Mandi Placements 2025

Phase 1 of IIT Mandi Placements 2025 concluded in December 2024, while Phase 2 is scheduled to begin between April and May 2025.

Earlier, during the 2024 placement season, 192 recruiters visited the IIT Mandi campus, successfully placing 84% of the BTech Class of 2024 into new-age job profiles. The average salary offered to BTech CSE students stood at INR 26.55 LPA. Additionally, the overall average and median salary packages for BTech graduates were INR 22.38 LPA and INR 21 LPA, respectively. Top recruiting companies included Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, HCL, IBM, TCS, ICICI Bank, among others.

The Career and Placement Cell (CnP Cell) at IIT Mandi actively supports students from the time of induction and orientation, through summer internships and mid-term projects, to their final placements and even after. The CRC also organises various academic and non-academic initiatives to ensure students are prepared to meet the dynamic demands of the industry.

According to the Parliamentary Standing Committee Report on Education, Women, Children, Youth, and Sports, some IITs, including IIT Mandi, recorded fewer placements during 2023-24.

In the previous placement season (2023), Phase 1 concluded with 249 job offers. Around 201 recruiters participated, making 90 international offers and 75 pre-placement offers (PPOs) to the Class of 2023. The highest package offered was INR 60 LPA, while the average package stood at INR 25.23 LPA. Key recruiters included Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, HCL, IBM, TCS, and ICICI Bank.
