For first-year B.Tech students, the JEE Advanced All India Rank serves as the criterion of merit. The scholarship offers a monthly payment of INR 1000 and waives the tuition charge.
- From the date of enrollment for the odd semester, the amount is given for a year.
- Institutional Scholarships for BTech Students of SC/ST BTech students who are recipients of IIT Mandi scholarships for SC/ST students are excused from paying rent and receive a monthly allowance of INR 1000. Under this plan, students have the option of:
- The choice between free messing (limited to a basic menu) and a monthly pocket allowance of INR 250 OR a monthly facility of INR 1000.
