Admission to the 30+ undergraduate and postgraduate courses at IIT Hyderabad is based on scores from various national-level entrance exams.   • 3-year MTech: Admission is based on an entrance exam followed by an interview for shortlisted candidates. The Department of CSE uses various parameters, including GATE exam scores, to shortlist candidates for the entrance test and interview.

  • Executive MTech: After filling out the application form, candidates are shortlisted for the written test/interview round. Final admission is based on work experience and performance in the written test/interview.

IIT Hyderabad BDes Admission 2024

Candidates seeking admission to the BDes program at IIT Hyderabad must qualify through the UCEED 2024 exam. Those with a valid UCEED score are then required to appear for the DAT exam conducted by IIT Hyderabad. Qualified candidates are subsequently called for a Personal Interview (PI) round for the final selection.

  • To be admitted to the M.Des Program at IIT Hyderabad, candidates must take the CEED exam.
  • Based on the CEED score, the candidate will be shortlisted for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT). Candidates are screened based on their DAT scores, and those who are shortlisted must attend a Personal Interview.

IIT Hyderabad offers MA in Development studies, and candidates applying for the course must pass an entrance examination as well as a PI round.

IIT Hyderabad Ph.D Admission 2024

At the doctoral level, IIT Hyderabad offers a full-time Ph.D. program across 16 disciplines. IIT Hyderabad Ph.D. Selection Process:

  • Admission is based on an interview conducted by the institute.
