The campus of IIT Hyderabad

IIT Hyderabad is located near NH-65 in Sangareddy, Kandi, Telangana, on the IITH road. The institute's campus encompasses a total of 576 acres of land. It is divided into blocks because the building was constructed in stages. The IIT Hyderabad campus is divided into blocks for undergraduate and graduate programs. The housing for students and faculty is also separate. There are no mixed-gender hostels; the hostel buildings are segregated for both students. The institute's infrastructure includes the following:

• Modern classrooms with ample space.
• A library with 20,000 books and 10,000 periodicals, as well as national and international journals and online subscriptions, is available.
• IITH Dining is available to all students, staff, and faculty. The restaurant serves both north and south Indian cuisine. The student representatives and wardens inspect the food quality regularly. 
• Shiru Cafe at IITH was the first to open outside of Japan. The cafe is well-liked by students and is staffed by Japanese student interns. The cafe also provides free beverages to members of the IITH fraternity.
• New health care clinic: In collaboration with Continental hospitals, IIT Hyderabad has opened a health care clinic in the G+1 building. Japan's JICA is funding the healthcare centre.

IIT Hyderabad's hostels accommodate one student per room. Students are also permitted to stay outside of the hostels if they so desire. There is no requirement to only live in hostels.

IIT Hyderabad Scholarship

Students at IIT Hyderabad can access a variety of scholarships provided by various institutes, as well as governmental and private scholarship schemes. However, to qualify, students must meet the basic eligibility requirements for each scholarship. Additionally, a student can receive only one scholarship from any of these sources. Merit Cum Means Scholarship:

• Offered by the institute to 25% of the students from the General, OBC-NCL, and EWS categories.
• Parental income must not exceed INR 4.5 lakhs.
• Students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.0 with no active backlogs.
• Selected students receive a monthly pocket allowance of INR 1000.

SC/ST Scholarship:

• Available for students from the SC/ST categories enrolled in UG programs at IIT Hyderabad.
• Parental income from all sources must not exceed INR 4.5 lakhs.
• Students must maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.0 with no active backlogs.
• Selected students receive a monthly pocket allowance of INR 250, along with a refund of License Fee and Dining Charges as per eligibility.
