IIT Hyderabad Admission 2024

Admission to the 30+ undergraduate and postgraduate courses at IIT Hyderabad is based on scores from various national-level entrance exams. For the flagship B.Tech program, candidates must clear the JEE Advanced exam and participate in the counseling process conducted by JoSAA. To participate in the seat allotment process, candidates must register online for JoSAA counseling. The B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program at IIT Hyderabad is highly sought after, with a cut-off range of 158 to 674 for the General Category.

At the postgraduate level, IIT Hyderabad offers M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Des, and Ph.D. programs. Admissions to these programs are based on GATE, IIT JAM, and CEED scores for M.Tech, M.Sc, and M.Des courses, respectively. Admission to the MA program requires an interview and a test administered by IIT Hyderabad.
