IIT Guwahati Placements 2024
The IIT Guwahati Placement 2024 report is yet to be released. According to the previous year’s data, the highest package offered at IIT Guwahati was INR 2.4 CPA (CSE). A total of 246 companies from sectors such as IT/Software, Finance, and Non-Tech Profile provided placement opportunities to students, followed by Core Engineering, Design, and Education sectors. IIT Guwahati had an overall student placement rate of 78.04%, with 20 international offers secured. In the 2023 placements, 83.03% of B.Tech students and 72.89% of M.Tech students were selected.
A total of 215 PPOs were offered to IIT Guwahati candidates. The highest CTC offered to MTech/M.Des students was INR 57.70 LPA. Some of the top recruiters included HPCL, Navi, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Schlumberger, Piramal, TVS R&D, and GAIL.

During the IIT Guwahati Placements 2023, students received 215 PPOs, with the highest international CTC being INR 2.4 CPA and the highest domestic package at INR 1.1 CPA. In the previous year, 180 recruiters participated in the IIT Guwahati Placements 2022, including major companies like Microsoft, Google, Apple, and JP Morgan. Out of 1243 students registered for the placement drive, 910 were successfully placed.
The highest international package offered was INR 2.5 CPA, received by the M.Tech & M.Des batch, while B.Tech & B.Des students received the highest domestic package of INR 1.2 CPA. M.Tech and M.Des students achieved an average CTC of INR 17.77 LPA.
