IIIT Ranchi is established in the year of 2016 by Government of India focused on Information Technology. The college offers undergraduate B.Tech courses in Computer Science Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. It is a four years course. So the first batch will emerge in the year 2020.

The college has a Training and Placement Cell which will look after the IIT Ranchi placement related things. The college also has several industry partners such as Tata Motors, TCS and CCL on a Public Private Partnership. So it can be assumed that the college will offer a good placement.

The streams, which is offered by the institute is high on demand in the corporate sector. Computer Science and Engineering is the future of our generation. So we can hope that the IIIT Ranchi placement will make a new record in the history of this pioneer institution.
