IIIT Ranchi Campus Facilities

Presently IIIT Ranchi is conducted in the campus premises of NIT Jamshedpur. 

IIIT Ranchi campus provides all the basic amenities to make its student’s life easier inside the campus. There are gymkhana, banking facilities, post office, medical facilities and canteen. There are Branches of State Bank of India and ICICI within the college premises with special counters to be availed by the staff and students of IIIT Ranchi.

The institute believes in the all-round development of its students, therefore it has a gymkhana, which serves as a venue for most of the extra-curricular and co-curricular activities. IIIT Ranchi has the facility of a dispensary within the campus itself with both a male and a female doctor. The students are provided with the facility of free check-up and free medicines.

The campus has an in-house canteen named the “Annapurna Canteen”, which is located beside the institute dispensary. The canteen serves good food with a good menu that suits the wants of the students. Thus the canteen is a good place to visit after the classes. IIIT Ranchi hostel facility is available for all the students.

NIT Jamshedpur hostel has a total number of 13 buildings, among them, nine are for boys and four for Girls and the hostels are also provided for the IIIT Ranchi students. One of the major attractions of this campus is the OVAL structure Computer Centre, which comprises of central computing facilities.

Mainly there are three types of services provided by the computer centre and they are computational services, laboratory services and network services.
