Eligibility & Documents Required

International applicants must meet the following basic eligibility criteria, along with demonstrating proficiency in English or Spanish based on course requirements. Specific subject requirements can be found on the respective course pages.

For Bachelor’s Programs:

  • Applicants must have successfully completed secondary school, equivalent to Spanish Class 12, prior to applying for college.
  • The applicant should have studied Mathematics throughout their school years, which is mandatory for most bachelor’s programs except for Humanities.
  • A valid SAT or ACT score, or an ESADE Admission Test score, is required.

For Graduate Programs:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant or technical field is necessary for courses in Business, Management, and Law.
  • A valid GMAT or GRE score is required for the MBA program.
  • Applicants must have a minimum of two years of full-time work experience after completing their undergraduate degree for the MBA.

Language Proficiency Requirements

ESADE Business School conducts an admission test for applicants, which includes an English proficiency assessment. Therefore, applicants have the option to take either a standard English proficiency test or the ESADE Admission Test. The language requirements for admission to Esade Business School courses are as follows:

Bachelor’s Programs

For courses taught in Spanish, language proficiency can be demonstrated through one of the following:

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish
  • DELE level C2

Graduate Programs

For master’s and research courses, specific language requirements apply depending on the program. For example, the MBA and Executive MBA programs require proof of English proficiency through one of the following exam scores:

Required Documents for Application

Applicants must submit all original academic transcripts directly to the school. These transcripts should be provided in either Spanish or English; if they are in another language, they must be translated by certified translators. Part-Time Work While Studying

International students at ESADE Business School have the opportunity to seek internships in their final year of study. These internships with reputable companies can be highly beneficial, as they often lead to potential employment opportunities after graduation. Students holding a student visa in Spain are permitted to work part-time for up to 20 hours per week during their academic sessions.

Practicum

Certain programs, including the BBA at ESADE, mandate students to complete a compulsory internship in their final year. This semester-long internship allows students to gain practical experience in a professional setting before graduating and is valued at 20 undergraduate credits. More than half of the students who participate in these internships receive job offers from the companies where they interned. The school supports students in preparing for their internship interviews by organizing orientation seminars and offering guidance on CV writing.
