NIT Trichy – Department of Management Studies Scholarships

DoMS NIT Trichy Scholarships:

Being an NIT, the institute follows a merit cum means scholarship for minority students scholarship scheme. NITT makes every possible effort to make their students expert in every aspect of corporate life. Irrespective of the year of study, the candidates can register their names in the National Scholarship Portal, if he or she is from a family with less than 2.5 LPA income. Other than this, NITT also has a number of a scholarship program to give every opportunity to every aspiring student.

There are many scholarship programs, the candidates can avail at NIT Trichy Management Department. Some of the programs are provided by the state government. The program is referred to as Scholarship by Tamil Nadu State Government for Tamil Nadu Students. Apart from this, there are also some different state government programs for the students hailing from different states such as Odisha.

There are scholarship programs for minority students such as Muslim, Sikh, Parsi,

Buddhist and Christians. The institute also provides Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for SC students and the same for ST students. Both the schemes are implemented by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and the  Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Govt. of India respectively.

Besides these, DoMS NIT Trichy also has National Scholarship for Persons with Disabilities, which is implemented by the Ministry of social justice and empowerment. Not only the GOI, but some of the reputed PSUs also came forward to help the students with scholarships. Such as Scholarship Schemes implemented by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) and Scholarship Schemes implemented by Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL).
