Delhi University Scholarships

Delhi University provides scholarship programs to encourage and motivate the students so that they can pursue higher education in their relevant field. The scholarships are given to students based on different criteria and categories. Detailed information regarding Delhi University Scholarships is available on their official website. 

Significant Scholarships and Fundings offered by Delhi University: 

Scholarship 1: South Campus Endowment Scholarship has 18 scholarships for students of Post-Graduation, enrolled in the South Campus of Delhi University with two categories. Category A offers a scholarship to students who have secured merit in their entrance examination.

Category B offers a scholarship to students who have achieved 60% or more in their part one. An amount of Rs.250 p.m is given as scholarship. 

Scholarship 2: Three scholarships of Rotary Club of Delhi, one each from subjects of Applied science, Arts and Social Science in Post Graduation are provided. An amount of Rs. 21,000/-p.m is given as scholarships based on their performance and attendance. 

Scholarship 3: Sungum Sudhaar Scholarship Endowment is offered to the PhD students of Philosophy for a maximum time of three years of their thesis submission. The amount of scholarship is Rs. 16,000/- p.m

Scholarship 4: Pandit Man Mohan Nath Dhar Endowment is given to the students of Bachelor/Master Degree who belong from a poor financial background. An amount of Rs. 100/- p.m is given for a period of one year.

Scholarship 5: Sardar Kartar Singh Grover Memorial Scholarship is awarded to the undergraduate student of 1st year in Computer Science, who has secured the highest marks (min 60%). 

Scholarship 6: Ganga Sant Scholarship is given to meritorious students of 1st year, from a needy family pursuing graduation in Sanskrit. An amount of Rs.175/- is presented as scholarship. 

Scholarship 7: The Delhi University Women’s Association Scholarship has two scholarships worth Rs. 100/- p.m and it will be given to credible daughters of Jawans belonging from the needful family and who joins the 1st year of three years under-graduate course.

Scholarship 8: Srimati Kesra Bai Luthra Memorial Scholarship will be granted to the students belonging to the needful family, and who join the 1st year of B.Sc course in Botany or Zoology. An amount of Rs. 100/- p.m will be given as scholarship. 

Scholarship 9: Prof. J.C Luthra and Srimati Kesra Bai Luthra Book Grant is given to the students belonging to the needy family, if they join the 1st year of B.Sc course in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology. The awards are renewable based on merit, and it will be tenable for three years. An amount of Rs.100/- p.m will be offered as a scholarship.

Scholarship 10: Shri Khusi Ram Scholarship is given to the students belonging to the needy family on joining the 1st of any Bachelor Degree course. The awards are renewable based on merit, and it will be tenable for three years. An amount of Rs. 100/- p.m will be offered as scholarship.
