Undergraduate courses

The Bachelor of Science - Honors full-time course consists of specializations like Mathematics, Physics, Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Home Science, Polymer Science, Biomedical Sciences, Food Technology and Geology.
The University also offers a Bachelor of Vocational Studies course on Software Development, Printing And Publishing, Web Designing, Healthcare Management, Retail Management & Information Technology and Banking & Finance.
The fee structure of most of these courses depends on the college conducting it. The total fee for the B.A. programme is INR 12,480 whereas the total fee of the B.Com Honors programme is INR 89,890. Delhi University PG admission is offered with the courses like Executive MBA/PGDM, LL.B, LL.M, M.A, M.Com, M.E./M.Tech, M.Ed, M.Lib.I.Sc, M.P.Ed M.Sc, MBA/PGDM, M.B.B.S., M.C.A., MD, M.D.S. and M.F.A. PhD courses
The University offers a Doctor of Philosophy degree in specializations like Computer Engineering & Information Technology, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Biotechnology, Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Applied Sciences, Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering for a fee of INR 2.20 lakhs over three years.
Admission Process
All the applicants are admitted to the university courses based on the marks scored in the qualifying exam. Candidates need to score above a specified mark in these exams to get admitted to a particular class or discipline.
The qualifying exams include CAT (Common Admission Test), GAT (General Ability Test), GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test Engineering), JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) Mains etc. Shortlisted candidates need to sit for a personal interview and group discussion round.
The final selection of candidates is made based on the qualifying exam score plus the performance in the personal interview or group discussion round.

Results and Cut-off
Delhi University colleges announce the cut-off list of its various courses and disciplines once the results of the corresponding entrance tests are out. The University prepares a cut-off list based on several factors like the number of candidates appearing for the qualifying exam, the highest marks obtained in the examination, the level of difficulty of the test and the number of vacant seats available in a particular department of the University.
The University declares following cut off lists until all the places in the affiliated colleges are filled up by candidates. The candidates need to obtain a score, which is equal to or more than the cut-off mark specified by the University to get admitted to their desired courses.
For example, B.Tech candidates are required to surpass the JEE Main cut-off score, while MBA candidates are needed to cross the CAT cut-offs. The 2018 CAT cut-off was a percentile of 99 for the branches MBA International Business, E.M.B.A. Health Care Administration and M.B.A. Human Resource Development. Relaxation in cut off scores is offered to reserved category candidates, women candidates and to ECA quota applicants.

The University provides lodging provisions to its students, both boys and girls, through 15 hostels in the north campus. The hostel facilities vary according to colleges.
