Bangalore University is one of the ancient universities of India established in Karnataka in the year in 1886. Admission Highlights:
- Bangalore University admission for Undergraduate Degree like B.A, B.Sc, B.Com is based on the marks obtained by the students in their HSC exams and a Pre-University exam. Students should have completed their 12th standard from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks along with the concerned subject for which they are applying.
- Bangalore University admission for Undergraduate Degree like BBM, B.Sc (Fashion Designing), BHM is based on the marks obtained by the students in their HSC exams. Students should have completed their 12th standard from a recognized board with minimum 35% marks.
- Bangalore University admission for Undergraduate Degree like BE, B.Tech is based on the marks obtained by the students in their HSC exams and KCET exam. Students must have completed their 12th standard from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in Science background.
- Bangalore University admission for Postgraduate Degree like M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, MSW is based on the marks obtained by the students in their bachelor degree exam. Students must have completed their graduation from a recognized university with minimum 40% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in the concerned subject.
- Bangalore University admission for Postgraduate Degree like M.E, M.Arch, MBA, and MCA is based on the marks obtained by the students in their bachelor degree exam and PGCET exam. Students must have completed their graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks. Students of M.E and M.Arch must have B.E and B.Arch respectively with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Bangalore University admission for PhD Degree is based on the marks obtained by the students in their master degree exam and PhD entrance exam. Students must have completed their post-graduation from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in the relevant subject. Students who have M.Phil degree or cleared JRF Test/UGC NET/ CSIR-NET/ GATE/ SLET/ SET are exempted from PhD entrance exams.
