Babu Banarasi Das University Campus Facilities 

Founded in the year 2010, Babu Banarasi Das University is among the top academic and research universities in India. It is located in Faizabad Road, Lucknow Uttar Pradesh – 226 028 India.

BBDU Library has more than 2 lakhs of Books, Periodicals and Journals as well as in online subscription of IEEE, INDEST, Science Direct, Bentham, etc. The library has books covering the various topic of Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Science and humanities etc.

Babu Banarasi Das University has its own community radio with own broadcasting, production and recording facilities. The radio channel is known as BBD FM at 90.8 MHz. The FM helps to educate and share the knowledge related to the campus with students and the community. 

BBDU has a stadium to accommodate more than 20,000 spectators. The campus offers sports facilities like Cricket, Football & Hockey and Athletics, Volleyball, Basketball, Lawn Tennis & Badminton. There are indoor games facilities available like Table Tennis, Carom and Chess, etc.

The campus has an air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of 1,000 along with JBL acoustics, cinemascope projector, and a cinemascope screen.

Additionally, the college has its own ambulance service and it has tie-ups with reputed local hospitals & nursing homes for medical treatment. All hostellers are insured with hospitalization expenses as well as accidental insurance.

There is a beautiful double storied, sloped roof mall with a food court, dispensary, salon, stationery book shop, and branded outfit shops inside the campus. BBDU hosel facilities are available for all full-time students.

However, all the hostel rooms are available on a twin or triple sharing basis. Every hostel has a recreation room with a TV and indoor games facility. There is a full-fledged branch of Punjab National Bank inside the campus along with 24X7 ATM facility.

The campus is protected with 24 hours of closed-circuit security.  Apart from that, the campus has a magnificent Temple of Lord Ganesha’s made of white marble at the entrance of the Campus. Also, the temple basement is used as a hall for Yoga & Meditation practices.

The campus has its own transportation service with more than twenty coaches, that is provided for students and faculty members from every part of the town.
