Babu Banarasi Das Engineering College Lucknow was established in the year 2010. It was founded by Akhilesh Das. It is a Private University located in the capital city of Lucknow in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.

Admission to the Undergraduate level as well as Postgraduate level courses is conducted on the basis of entrance examinations followed by counselling. Admission to the doctoral level course is done as per UGC Regulations or BBDU PhD Ordinance.

• For Undergraduate level B.tech programs, candidates are admitted to the program on the basis of Entrance examination followed by counselling. All applicants must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Computer Science to be eligible to apply.
• For Postgraduate level M.tech programs, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination along with counselling. All candidates should have a B.Tech or B.E in relevant field with a minimum 55% marks in aggregate to apply for the course. 
• For doctoral-level PhD courses admission is done based on written test examination. Also, students applying to the course need to have M.E or M.Tech in any relevant branch.

Admission Procedure UG 

Babu Banarasi Das Engineering College has five departments in B.Tech such as Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communication, Computer Science and Civil. Admission to the Undergraduate level B.tech programs is done on the basis of Entrance examination followed by counselling.

All applicants must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Computer Science to be eligible to apply.

Admission Procedure PG 

Babu Banarasi Das University Postgraduate level M.Tech courses are majorly provided in five courses such as Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Electrical, Computer Science Engineering as well as Civil engineering.

Admission to the Postgraduate level M.tech programs are taken on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination along with counselling. All candidates should have a B.Tech or B.E in relevant field with a minimum 55% marks in aggregate to apply for the course. 

PG Course

Admission Procedure Ph.D 

Admission to doctoral level PhD courses is done based on a written examination, which is conducted by the college. Also, students applying to the course need to have M.E or M.Tech in any relevant branch. The eligibility criteria and norms for PhD courses are as per UGC Regulations or BBDU PhD Ordinance.
