AIMS Institute, Bangalore offers five full-time undergraduate courses and five full-time postgraduate courses. At the undergraduate level, the Institution offers full-time BBA, BCA, B.Sc, B.Com, and BHM courses. At the postgraduate level, the institute offers full-time MBA, MCA, MSW, M.Sc, M.Com, and MFA programs.

Candidates can apply for all the courses online through the AIMS website.
MBA candidates shall have to submit INR 1500 as application fee.
SC/ST candidates provide a relaxation of 5% in minimum eligibility marks for all the programs.
UG candidates must have passed PUC or equivalent examinations
PG candidates must have completed respective Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Admission is based on merit for most programs, except MBA. Candidates may be required to clear the AIMS Personal interview.
MBA candidates should clear the respective entrance examinations for admission (MAT/CAT/GMAT/CMAT/XAT)
AIMS follows the reservation criteria of the Bangalore University as well as that of Karnataka State government.

Candidates seeking admission should have 10+2 / PUC / Equivalent examination from a recognized University / Board. SAARC/Foreign Candidates: GCE/JGCSE/GCSE Certification with minimum 5 subjects at ‘O’ level and 2 at ‘A’ level Pass Certificate / Diploma of a Secondary Stage Level Examination (12 years) of any discipline, recognized by National level council/board of any country.

AIMS Institute Bangalore UG Selection Process:

Admission to B.A., BBA, BCA, B.Com, and BHM programs are offered on the basis of merit. For programs like BBA and BCA, the concerned department will also conduct a Personal Interview.

AIMS Institute Bangalore PG Selection Process:

Admission to all the postgraduate courses will be granted on the basis of Merit in the qualifying examination.

SC/ST candidates are given a relaxation of 5% in the minimum eligibility marks.
M.Sc candidates must have passed the optional subjects with an aggregate of 40%.
MCA candidates should have studied Mathematics or allied subjects at 10+2 level or at degree level
Admission to MBA courses requires the candidates to clear competitive entrance examinations.
A minimum of 60% should be obtained in the entrance examination for admission to MBA.
Other PG courses only require merit in the qualifying examination for admission.

A graduate degree under 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 pattern under any discipline, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate, from a recognized university.
An honors degree under 10+2+4 pattern from a recognized university under UGC Act with at least 50% marks in aggregate including languages
Candidates who have passed Bachelor/Master’s degree through correspondence / Open University System from this university or from any other university, recognized by law, are exempted from 10+2 pattern. The duration of the degree program must be 3 + 2 years

Note: In case of SC / ST / Category I candidates, there is a relaxation of 5% in the aggregate of marks obtained in the University Exams.

Candidates having 60% or above marks in MBA PGCET / CAT / MAT / ATMA /XAT or any state-approved admission test are eligible for admission.

The selection process consists of Statement of Purpose, Group Discussion, Extempore, and Personal Interview
