Each IIM sets its own category-wise CAT cut-off percentile for admission. The qualifying cut-offs for the General category typically range between 80-90 percentile, while the final cut-offs are significantly higher.

• Top IIMs usually have final cut-offs between 98-100 percentile
• Other IIMs have cut-offs ranging between 90-97 percentile
• PI shortlisting is based on the final CAT cut-offs
