Every examination consists of a set of eligibility criteria which allows the authority to identify the candidates who are willing to sit for the exam. Similarly, TS EAPCET 2024 also has some important eligibility criteria which enable the students to be sorted between those who are eligible and those who are not. Every student must follow the correct eligibility criteria and only then they should continue with the other formalities of the entrance examination.

• Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals or hold PIO/OCI status.
• Domicile: Applicants should be residents of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh. However, those not meeting the domicile requirement can also apply for 15% of unreserved quota seats.
• Age Limit: Most courses under TS EAPCET do not have a specific age limit. However, for B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering), and B.Tech (Food Technology), candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31 of the admission year.
• Educational Qualification: Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate (10+2) examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
• Subjects: The qualifying examination must include Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for engineering courses, and Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for agriculture and medical courses.
• Minimum Percentage: The minimum percentage required varies based on the course chosen and is determined by the conducting authority.
• Eligibility for Reserved Categories: Reserved category candidates, such as SC, ST, and OBC, are subject to specific eligibility criteria relaxation as determined by the conducting authority.
