Is there a sectional cut-off to get GD/PI calls from XIMB?
If yes,what were they last year?

yes..you need to clear sectional cutoffs to get a gd/pi call from ximb..
and for the umpteenth time..
the last years cutoffs were
Overall - 96.21
Quant - 78.77
English - 76.08
RA/DI - 75.99
OA - 96.13
VA - 78.72
QA - 99.23
LR - 84.58

Sectionals are all clear as per last yr's cutoffs..but your overall score is very close to last year's cutoff.. just keep ur fingers crossed and hope for the best :)

What chances do I have of getting a call from XIMB?
And also what are the other good colleges through XAT? This is the only decent score in this season for me. I have already applied to GIM, where else can I apply in a good college?

Hey,
You will definitely get a call for gd/pi, unless the overall cutoff drastically rises and there is very less probability of that..
As far as applying to other colleges is concerned, most colleges accept applications till before the XAT exam. I dont think applications for any college are open right now..
You will definitely get a call from GIM too..So give them both ur best shot..

Hi,
Scores seems fine. You can expect a call from XIMB.
As far as good colleges are concerned, i would suggest that you check the list of colleges accepting xat score and decide for urself, though you can expect calls from any college except XLRI at this score.

Start preparations for GD PI.. YOu are sure to get a call..
As far as colleges are concerned, different people will have different definitions of good. So, decide accordingly.

First of your chances at XIMB would depend upon your GD PI and XAT scores. Since your score are at a lower level, so you need to perform well at GD / PI.
And yes you definitely should get a call for GD PI.

Although ur overall and va/qa scores are well above last yr's cutoffs.. ur LR score is a little too low..
I dont think u ll be able to clear that sectional cutoff.. :|

According to last year's cutoffs.. you will surely get a call..
although keep praying that the cutoff in LR & DI doesnt drastically go up from last year's 75.99% :)

No fixed reservations. Just additional weightage of some sort.. XAT cutoffs a bit lower for them thats it.. No relxation for GD PI.

Diff to say.. but you might get a call.. You need to do very well in your GD PI for a final convert though...
