when is the list of shortlisted candidates for gd pi going to come out
it wld be really nice if they increase the sectional cut offs bit and lowers the overall cut off. this is totally my personal opinion so plz dont sue me if at the end something else happens:angel:

As far as the trend is concerned, it is expected to rise a bit from the last year's one! Yes, you definitely have a fair chance of getting the call!
once again, List of Gd/PI students is expected to be declared in the first week of feb.

Sectionals seem to be just ok...the overall MAY create a problem. Still, you never know...ATB!!! 😃
RISING SaysXIMB generally gives around 700-800 calls for 120 seats..might be higher this time due to increase in number of seats..as we do not know the percentage of people for general candidates(so to say) so cannot comment on conversion ratio..but seriously do not contemplate on your chances and try for your best shot..if you are good we will see you hereall the best

We have been hearing that its is going to increase. But confirmation from the admin as of now. We heard of this even last year while our admissions. So better do not consider it till you have a proper source of information.

i was just skeptical about my VA percentile at 82,now that you have almost confirmed that i will get a call can you please tell something about the process or anything w need to prepare specifically ?
Ya you should get calls as per my belief..
The admission process last year was:
1> GD (Not an elimination round).
2> PI.
As far preparations go important things would be:
1> Current affairs, eg the current economic scenario.
2> Acads (Very imp for freshers).
3> Nething regarding your work ex.
4> Common Questions like why MBA, etc.
5> Sometimes the panelists do ask about the geography of the state you belong to.. and india in general... So be prepared for that.
Basically it can be anything. Just keep on reading stuff.
May be others can add to this. You all will have mentors assigned once the final Call is given out. So you get to know everything. For now just keep yourself updated with nething that is going around the world.

Refer the earlier posts for exact values.. AS far as I remember it was around the 80 mark.. and overall 96.2.
