What if a general category ph candidate doesn't takes reservation and clears on general category? Will the medical criteria accept it or disqualify him/her?

I am a general category ph candidate with 40% disability .i have decided not to take reservation .I just want to know if i clear any bank or ssc exam in general category will they cancel my candidature after medical examination .If it doesn't goes ok with the requirement or they allocate me seat in general category? I would be very thankful if u will reply early..
