Thanx for sharing your profile. I will write GMAT on 12 Oct. So GMAT score is awaited. 😛 Will start application work after that.

With a GMAT score of 640 and an experience of more than 5 years in Business Technology consultancy, shall I apply to Tepper.

Any suggestions

@reviliant difficult question. People say that GMAT is just only a small part of the application but the quality of experience, leadership, extracurricular and community activities - every part of the application is important.

Try to apply but do work really hard to make other parts very strong.

Submitted my app day before yesterday .. for first round 😃

Hi @rohitrajjinka

How would you justify your invesment in micro ventures? Doesn't your company policy prohibit you from being a director or employee of any other venture/company/organization at the same time?

@mynk004 yes, my company's policy prohibits me from being an employee/director at another venture or organization - only when this venture/organzation is generating revenues beyond certain limit per annum. Micro ventures are currently generating revenues that are well below that limit and these are currently distributed among the employees only and I do not earn anything above what my current company pays. 😃 Community service

that's great then. 😃

Hi All,

I've submitted my application last month. Got an e-mail that application is complete and under review, and in the meantime, got an interview invite for 16-Nov through Skype. They say that's the hard part, hence will try to give my best as Tepper is one of my top priority schools...

Did anybody else here in PG got the interview invite? Perhaps we can share some invaulable tips?

Anybody here done with Tepper's interview???

Guys why is this thread so inactive!

Did anyone else receive any Interview invite?

Till when do they give out interview invites?

I have my interview tomorrow 9 PM IST via Skype.

However, I also had my Rotman interview today via Skype and my Airtel 3G dongle literally betrayed me.. The video chat wasn't happening and I was pegged back with frequent disconnections. The interviewer, though, was very composed and happy to chat on phone.

Can I request my Tepper interviewer to call me on my mobile instead?? I hope they don't mind..Seriously, don't wanna take risk here

Hmm..what were your interview questions and how was the overall experience, besides internet disconnections

Anybody else with an interview invite ? I had submitted my application a day before the deadline .. The only thing I heard from them is that my application is under review by the adcom ..

I just have completed my Tepper interview over Skype. Luckily, my internet worked fine this time :)

The questions were usual:
1) Why MBA? Why now?
2) Why Tepper?
3) Goals post MBA
4) Example of teamwork and results
5) Challenging situation (professionally, personally or academically) and what did you learn from it?
6) Questions for me?

The interview lasted exactly 30 minutes and my interviewer informed me beforehand that it would be a blind interview. She had a look at my resume just before we spoke.

Overall, a learning experience...I would definitely have preferred a telephonic interview though. Although Skype video calls are decent, the quality of the voice is not great..I had to pardon many times to understand what she was saying.. :)
