Can btech Electronics and communication graduatesapply for this post? 

Notification mentions degree must of 3 year duration

NOTE-II The qualifying Degree or Diploma referred above must be of three (3) years duration after (10+2) examination. So B.E/B.TECH are not eligible to apply ?

  I was filling the form of  SSC Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department and i found that the qualifying Degree or diploma candidate should be in First Class (60% marks) or 6.75 CGPA on a 10 point scale .but i got CGPA of 6.63 in my IT Engineering and my university has conversion formula of cgpa to percentage is multiply CGPA with 10 ,so according to this formula my percentage is 66.3% in  my degree but i am confuse that if i fill CGPA 6.63  then i am not eligible but if i convert my CGPA to  percentage then i am eligible .Can anyone help me out from this problem

Guys plz share this whether a btech holder can fill this form or not... If get this info from anywhere...

BE AND BTECH CANDIDATES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE PL LOOK INTO THE ADVT CLEARLY THEY HAVE WRITTEN DIPLOMA OF 3 YEARS AS EDU QUALIFICATION

See clearly they have asked for diploma and not degree holders.so btech and b e degree holders are not eligible

Official advt says Be btech are not eligible Aage apni apni marzi dil bahlaane k liye unofficial sources

My cgpa is 6.49. According to my college rule,the CGPA can be converted into percentage by multiplying CGPA by 10. So with this formulae,my percentage becomes 64.90. While filling online form,we have to select either CGPA or Percentage. So what to do friends? Please tell me and help me out.

Note 2 makes btech and be candidates eneligible because they are referring degree above in science and diploma in electronics for 3 years but degree in b tech is of 4 yrs so clearly makes ineligible so dont waste your 100 rupess you will not be called for written test if anyways called will be sent back at dv

I called SSC today they said btech/BE is eligible for this post and even i queried my Degree number problem that my CGPA is 6.63 but when i convert my CGPA to percentage then my percentage is 66.3% then  i also told him my univesrity percentage conversion formula (percengae=CGPA*10),then that man replied to me that u can apply for this post even ur cgpa is 6.63 because ur percentage is 66.3% according to ur university percentage formula

Mech engg wala form fill kre ya na ?  as v also have physics as one of the subjects ...

Being from ECE branch, I know how is the situation of ECE people. So less job through GATE. No job for us in SSC JE. For those, Who are confused if we are eligible for SSC scientific assistant, this link might be helpful.

 For final confirmation, someone need to call SSC. By the way, I am filling the form selecting Diploma equivalent as qualifying degree

Final clarification is that only Be and b tech candidates with ECE BRANCH are eligible only no other branch is eligibl.Point C clarifies it so no more confusion .calrifies by ssc

For rest of branches they only invite bsc candidates like Bsc It Bsc Cs etc
