I had recently appeared in the SAIL MTT/MTA 2013 held in July 14,2013 and my roll no was XXXXXXXXX.
Kindly provide me with the following information requested under the purview of RTI ACT 2005.
Q1. Please provide me with the details regarding the marks obtained by me in the “written test”; bifurcated section wise in the abovesaid exam.
Q2) Please provide me the details of the individual total marks,sectional scores obtained by EACH OF THE CANDIDATES who have BEEN SHORTLISTED for GD/Interview (irrespective of the disciplines/job profile OR CATEGORIES ) of SAIL MTT/MTA exams 2013?
Q3) What are the cutoffs across the categories (General,SC,ST,OBC-NC,PH) in ALL the disciplines (Finance,mechanical,hr etc)?
Find the application fee (IPO of Rs 10/- No: XXXX Date:XXXXXXXX) for the request attached with this application. If you feel that the above requested information does not pertain to your department,please follow the provisions of Section 6(3) of the RTI Act 2005.
Also as per the provisions of RTI Act 2005,please provide the details (Name and Designation) of the first appellate authority w.r to your department with the reply to the above request,where I may file my first appeal.
Kindly,provide me with the information at the address/email id mentioned with the application. I request you to ensure that the information is provided before the expiry of 30 day period after you have received the application.

As a Chartered Accountant; I have a disclaimer to make so that my fellow puys cum SAIL aspirants can make an informed decision.I have drafted the above questions keeping in mind ;that the SAIL authorities are bound to give under RTI Act ;DETAILED INFORMATION about marks scored by all the shortlisted candidates....Anyone who receives RTI reply are requested to upload the scanned copy here; so that we can get to know 1.what r the highest marks in each section of each discipline......This can have many benefits ........... Tired of giving many RTI replies to information seekers around the nation; they will start 1. A login facility where u can check ur marks (like SEBI's exams) 2. From now on;the pdf of shortlisted candidates will also include their marks scored..............

So if anyone sees my gradesheet he will know that I have mainly done electronics courses, but my degree says I have my BTech in 'Electrical'. Will it cause a problem during eligibility verification ? does sail allow method adopted by univesity for coming at overall agg percentage?? because our univ adopts a diff method. my university adopted a formula to convert CGPA to percentage. my final CGPA is 5.9 and 66% after using the formula and this % is written in my gradesheet. I am in huge dilemma.
i called the helpline they said u have to convince the officer who is varifying documents.
do they consider percentage on consolidated grade sheet? or do they calculate on their own??
