yup..i know mostly ppl r in delhi center..but thot incase SCIT call getters r goin to Pune side...or atleast someone coming back frm pune to delhi..!!anyways,i called up SIMS,they said they have no arrangements for candidates....!!!

hi raghav, hope u r aware we have 2 round of interviews here....one is usually stress interview...and ya be prepared to write a short word portrait about urself....as in u as a son, u as a citizen of this country,as a student etc etc....and remember u are hardly given 5 min to write all this...remember whatever u write should be consistent with what u have written in ur SOP...as in it should be logically similiar... hope that i've clarified your doubt to some extent...for any further queries you can always mail be at [email protected]

Hi Saurabh Thanks for replying though must say u post too little on the PG forum . I dont have the photocopy of SOP as sent online form . but vaguely rember it .confirm whether the casestudy is an intregral part of the GD and how long the PI lasts .checked the website,whats the placements scen right now. nothing explicity mentioned on th site. wud like u to give a clear picture and rate sims with sibm and other symi inst.

hi guys, regarding the dress code....just make sure whatever you wear suits you...u can come in suits or combinations thats upto you...but just make sure that its properly ironed.

hi raghav, Dont get stressed by hearing the word "stress interview"..its not always stressful...frankly it all depends on how u take it...just be calm and composed...think rationally and dont loose your cool and again, be in logical sync with ur SOP by this what i mean is that u should not appear to be an entirely different person in interview because they do have a copy of ur SOP during the interview. Just be yourself and you are there.

Mr Rocky, I agree with your statements about dreaming big and stuff...but please come out of your slumber...if you are not aware about the placements here this year kindly dont mislead people...as i have already posted earlier....i am doing my summers in whirlpool with IIM K/L guys and SIMS has given me this, so are my peers working with Amul that too again has been an IIM territorythast again because of SIMS again,the list in unending.... if you are not aware about the facts please do not start posting all of your whims and fancies...we had to get into this forum to clear the doubts which u guys may have.....REMEMBER WE ARE GROWING, AND WOULD CONTINUE TO DO SO...and if you think this place is not upto your standards why apply for it at all!!!!

I really dont know wat I have quoted which has heart u r sentiments. But if at all I have heart somebody then let me clarify that it would I have been unintentionally. As myself going through very rough patch I dont want to take any decisions for which, I have to repent next 35 yrs of my proffessional career.
I am pity confident abt SIMS thats why I am making so much enquiry. You wont jump into swimming pool unless and until u know know the depth of water.

Hey Fellas, it seems that there's been a misunderstanding.........so just lets forget all about it....afterall this thread is to provide as much info and help to everyone planning to get in a gud B-school and make a gud career ahead.......so lets just stick to that......... HEY SIMS, we really appreciate your help and even though Rocky might have said something that wld hv upset you i'm sure he didn't mean to hurt you or say anything against the instt......we all realise that its a gud instt and has been doing well in the past years and thats why we've applied to it and are very eager to know as much about it......as rightly said that you won't jump into a pool without judging its depth......i'm sure you must have gone through the same thing last year before making the decision to joining SIMS........now that you are in it you know the inside story but we don't......and neither of us wants to make such an important decesion of our life untill we are damn sure about it.............not withstanding the fact that SIMS is a very good instt..........and its got more than decent placement......its gud engh to launch us in the corporate world and after that our success depends solely on our work........so SIMS is an option that we all are seriously considering........and we all really want to make it there........... As for ROCKY.....hey just forget it yaar.......the reply from SIMS just shows that he is really happy with the instt and proud of being associated with it........so we can ourself deduce that he's more than satisfied with the instt.....that should clear a lot of our doubts abt the quality of the instt.......and hey dude, as i said its a thread to help all us......so just chill and forget all that you said about not posting untill asked to do so......and if you want to stick to it.......i started this thread and i'm asking you to keep posting regularly......hope thats engh for you......and plzz no more discussion on it again........... peace Akshay
hey people my snap score is 88( i know not all that gr but as far as scmhrd is condidered i hav not recieved a call but people with lower scores (no workex) hav recieved calls,
does ne1 know the criteria(as the scmhrd website suggests max weightage gven to snap score , acads(my acads r good enough(average of 67(be))
hav there been gitches in symbiosis earlier,(quite a possiblity,as the paper had many)
