The digitization of health care requires a new business model, a new  organizational structure, new talent and new questions, some of which  came up during a brown-bag seminar conducted by Prof. Kingshuk Sinha  from Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota, at SPJIMR on  8-Jan 2020. The seminar revolved around his recent research on digital  disruptions in the healthcare industry. Have  you been spending your quarantine days binge-watching shows on Netflix?  Then you're definitely not alone. SPJIMR FPM 2016 scholar Ambika Prasad  Nanda and SPJIMR Dean and Professor of Marketing, Dr. Ranjan Banerjee  studied binge-watching behaviour in two Indian cities and their findings  are rather interesting. It seems that people derive greater enjoyment  from being able to access their favourite shows in multiple formats.  Have you experienced that yourself? Leave a comment and let us know!  Meanwhile, hearty congratulations to the duo, whose research paper  "Binge watching: An exploration on the role of technology" has been  published in the eminent journal "Psychology & Marketing" by  Wiley-Blackwell Publishing.
