**DIRECTOR OF GIMS **
Prof (Dr) Sanjeev Chaturvedi has joined GIMS (GNIOT Institute of Management Studies) as Director. Previously he was associated with EDII (Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India) Ahmadabad as Chairman of PG Program and was deputed as Advisor at Tashkent, Uzbekistan at India Uzbekistan Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IUEDC).

Dr. Chaturvedi has travelled to more than 40 Countries. He is a seasoned academician, an academic administrator, author and a philosopher with a firm grip on entrepreneurship and International Economics with 35 Years of Experience working across Industry and Academics.

In Industry he has worked at senior positions as General Manager in Lan Eseda Industries Ltd, Deputy Director at Engineering Export Promotion Council (GOI Undertaking) and Resident Director at PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry etc.

During his academic journey he has served as Associate Dean at IILM-Business School-New Delhi, as Professor at Amity University, Noida campus, as Dean at Symbiosis Group, Pune and Chief Academic Officer at NGASCE- NARSEE MONJEE University, Mumbai. He was also visiting faculty to California State University, San Bernardino, Los Angeles USA and Birkbeck University, London, UK regularly. He has also worked as DG- National Institute of MSME, (NI- MSME)Hyderabad.

GIMSians are proving their courage and in due course of it GIMS has organized FERNWEH: the International Immersion Program (IIP) Bali, Indonesia and the PGDM students of Batch 2023 are enjoying their memorable journey from 13 February,23 onwards.
The week long trip will involve Industrial visit, Sightseeing, and exposure to Politeknik Negeri Bali. IIP-2023 to Bali is an opportunity for these Millennials for experiential learning, gain higher-level of exposure and advance their problem- solving skills. They’ll also experience cultural diversity and get a chance to connect with the people of Indonesia.

FACULTY AT GIMS:
Dr. Ruchi Rayat is the Dean-PGP and Professor of Human Resource Management. She is Accredited Management Expert and comes with a rich experience of more than 16 years as an academician and administrator. Her academic assets include a Doctoral Degree in Human Resource Management, Masters in Management and Graduate Diploma in Commerce. She has several publications in national and international journals of high repute including Scopus indexed journals and participated in Faculty Development Programmes at reputed places like Indian Institute of Management (L), SIMCA, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, and BIMTECH, among others.

She has held several faculty and administrative positions during her career. Before joining GIMS, Dr. Rayat was the Programme Head of BBA Platinum, the flagship programme of one of the leading Management Institute. She has also acted as an In-charge Professor of Incubation Centre to mentor the young students in creating their own startups and Chief Editor of the institute magazine. She has served as coordinator of several committees including Women Grievance Cell, Academic Council, Recruitment, Examination, Outreach among others in served colleges. She has also been part of AKTU panel to judge events sponsored by the university in different colleges.

As a respected teacher and facilitator, Dr. Rayat was awarded with ‘Best Educator Award’ by International Association of Educators And Corporate Trainers in IECT Awards held in October’20 and ‘Quality Contribution Award’ by GNIOT Group of Institutions in February’21 for her laudable contribution towards the institute. Professor Rayat has taught several courses in the area of Human Resource Management to both graduate and under graduate level. She has conducted several FDPs and MDPs for academicians and executives from some of the India’s leading universities and companies. She has also conducted several workshops on Stress Management, Emotional Intelligence, Business Etiquettes, Professional Writing Skills, and Pre Placement Talks for the faculties and students of different colleges. She is not only best known for her work on employee engagement and corporate culture, but has also conducted research, training and development, recruitment, stress management and managerial careers. Dr.Rayat has also delivered lecturers in different government schools to educate students regarding Women Empowerment and Career Opportunities. To say it in short, Prof. Dr. Rayat is an expert with vast experience and commendable contribution to academics.

Dr. Shalini Sharma is the Dean-OSW. A competent and dynamic professional having over 22 years of diverse work experience in academics, training, general administration, and sales. Dr. Sharma is a PhD in management, an NLP Practitioner certified and TTT certified professional from The British Council. Apart from academics, she has been actively involved in designing and delivering various employability, behavioral and soft skills and corporate training programmes. Her association in training has been diverse from academic institutions to corporate houses.

She is associated with V V Giri National Labour Institute where, she has designed and delivered training programmes on Gender Sensitization, Stress Management through Mindfulness, Emotional Intelligence/Empathy, Self- concept for Performance Enhancement, Anchoring through NLP and cross-culture communication for the Indian Police Personnel, RBI, Ministry of Women and Child Empowerment ICAR- Coimbatore, Lennox International, National Dockyard, Visakhapatnam, DMRC-New Delhi, National Front of Indian Trade Union (NFITU) to name a few. A few of her other associations have been with MDI, Gurgaon, B.M.L. Munjal University, Manesar, Skills Ahead Consultancy Services Pvt. Ltd, Quantico Education and Management Services, Pratham Education (IIFM) Eninov Systems and Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). She has also designed and delivered the Staff Development programmes for ex-servicemen (JSOs) at Army Institute and Management & Technology. Dr. Sharma is a life member of NHRD Network, AHRD, Noida Management Association.

She has 7 Scopus and UGC publications and 3 books edited to her credit. She has been actively involved in conducting the psychometric tests for the students and counseling sessions thereafter, in order to align them with their career. She had been instrumental in organizing the National Seminar on “Make in India for Defense Forces” for the Western Command, Indian Army.

As an NLP practitioner she has explored the most sought after issues of Gen- Z and millennials – “Break-up Counseling” and “Stress in Relationship Handling” and has been conducting counseling sessions for the teens and adults both.
