At LBSIM, a student is imparted with such expertise and skills which is required in the industry . It is true that a student is expected to have a basic understanding of their domain but their conduct and behavior are also reviewed. Although faculties offer complete support to the students, seniors, having the experience of recent interviews, seem to be a better option for all of us. Considering all of this, LBSIM makes it easier for students to crack interviews but some points should be kept in mind while attending an interview by each student which are mentioned above.

Learn about your interviewers and the company
The company is interested in knowing your inquisitiveness to learn about the company and join it. Learning this information can help you feel more confident in the interview. Study the company’s website, recent press releases, and social media posts to understand its goals, and determine how your experience makes you the best fit.

Prepare your answers for commonly asked interview questions
Come prepared for common questions, like, ‘Tell me about yourself.’, Strengths, Weaknesses, why should we hire you? etc.

Read the job description more than twice
Highlight specific sections and skills that seem to be the most important. Recall examples from your current and past work that match the requirements. This helps you show how you would be a good fit for the job, which is what interviewers expect.

Go through your resume in detail
One should be clear about his/her own resume, either you should not add some skill to it or you must be clear about it in detail. Interviewers expect that if you have mentioned something you are confident about the same.

Prepare for basic Hygiene questions
Employers prefer to hire applicants who come with questions. They are interested in learning about your seriousness in working with their company. Some of the questions that can be asked are- what is the career trajectory in this role? Can you share your experience? What is the daily routine?
