Hi Pallavi, as the name suggests: In Case Analysis the candidates will be shown a slide with a case and it will be a one-on-one case-based round. The preparation for the Personal Interview completely depends on the profile form of the candidate and the way he/she steers the conversation during the interview.

Group discussions and personal interviews (GD-PI) are a crucial part of the admissions process at the majority of B-Schools. The entrance test, academic scores, and work experience enlist the criteria to get qualified for an interview call; the final selection largely depends on your performance in the final rounds of GD-PI.
The de-coding mantras for the GD-PI round are-
Content - Current affairs knowledge and awareness are essential. One should prepare six to seven current affairs topics, which revolve around international, political, and economic issues. One must use logical justifications to create some opinions.
Presentation skills- Content alone cannot lead you to success unless you present well. The presentation contains many different elements, such as clear thinking, organization of thought, voice and tone, pacing, group address, dress sense, and language use. The art of disagreeing with a pleasant tone and expression will win you some extra points.
Right Attitude- The candidate should understand the distinction between being assertive and confident and being dominating and overconfident. One gains some advantage through their capacity for listening and interpersonal connection.
Given its importance, candidates must focus on this part of planning and not ignore it or postpone it.
The exam cut-offs depend on the pool of candidates that apply each year, and may vary year-on-year basis. However, for your reference: Last year’s GMAT cutoff was 500.
The cutoff is applicable only to the MBA Programme. MBA-HCM and MBA-SM Programmes accept applications based on profile-based shortlisting instead.
I scored 241 in NMAT which would easily clear the cutoff for KJ Somaiya but 76 percentile in CAT which is below cutoff. Will i get a call from KJ Somaiya in first round of calls if i apply only via NMAT and leave out filling CAT results?
