Get. Set. Go! Your Way to MBA.
Step 4: Analyse
“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing-that’s why we recommend it daily.” - Zig Ziglar
Here’s a reminder to review your concepts, practice being quick and accurate, plan your strategy, and take as many mock exams in order to get a good idea of your areas of strength and weakness. Including these in your daily schedule could be the first step toward getting into your desired B-school easier.
- Targets: Set targets for each day. You should set a target that involves you solving a minimum number of questions on that day. Make sure that you meet that target. This will help to keep your progress steady.
- Strengths: As you progress with your targets, there will be topics where you pick up the concepts quickly and make the least number of errors. To familiarize your strengths, try and solve every question type from each topic.
- Shortcuts and Speed: Once you are done identifying your strengths, to improve your speed you should start learning the different shortcuts for the same. Once you are familiar with all the questions, the next step would be to decrease the solving time for each question.
- Weak Areas: While practicing your weak areas, make sure to keep developing proficiency in your areas of strength as well. Do not compromise one for the other.
Towards the end, keep a calm mind. Do not worry about what you have missed or failed to include in your preparation. Just focus on everything that you have learned, finalize your test-taking strategy, and give in your best on the day of the exam.
All the Best!
