I’ve been shortlisted for the CAP 2022 interview process. I’ve a some queries regarding the form filling process:
I have graduated in the year 2019, however I do not have my final degree certificate. The final degree certificate is made available from my college only after the convocation. But due to pandemic, the convocation was postponed and happened only recently. Also, due to the ongoing third wave, the college and the university is closed. Although, I’ve the marksheets of all the six semesters.
Also, I’ve completed my post graduation in December 2021. But, the final degree or the provisional certificates are not available as of now. Only the marksheets of the four semesters are available.
I’ve applied for the certificates for both my graduation and post graduation but I don’t think they’ll be available till the 28th of this month as the college is closed due to Covid.
Any resolution to the above mentioned queries would be appreciated as the last date for the form fill up is 28th of January.
IIM Trichy has received calls from the candidates regarding not being shortlisted for CAP 2022 Registration and also that login credentials were not received, despite being eligible as per the common shortlisting criteria which was approved by nine participating IIMs.
We have cross checked the registration data and confirm that these candidates have not opted any CAP IIMs during CAT 2021 Registration.
Please note: It was mandatory for the candidates to select CAP IIMs (IIM Bodh Gaya, Jammu, Kashipur, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Sirmaur, Tiruchirapalli & Udaipur) during the CAT Registration, only then they would be shortlisted based on the common shortlisting criteria approved by Nine IIMs for the CAP Process.

You can fill the undertaking form and submit it in the portal.
However, you will need to submit the original Provisional Certificate / Degree Certificate at the time of Registration for the Admissions to the respective IIM, failing which your admission will stand cancelled.

I didn’t have one certificate with me right now, but the school will issue one and deliver it to me before 5th Feb. How can I inform the authorities about it? Please provide guidance to me.

This is in reference to CAP registration process. My category certificate has been digitally signed by Tahsildar, hence if I try to compress the file the digital sign gets disappeared. The actual file size is around 670 KB. I request you to suggest what best could be done over here.

You can upload the available co-curricular certificates in the portal.
Any certificates issued beyond the deadline date would not be considered.
Please note that the last date to fill the CAP 2022 Application Form has been extended till 31st January (23:59 hrs). Make sure to fill and submit your applications before this revised deadline.

One query regarding Work Experience Section in CAP 2022 form. During CAT form filling, 6 months back, if we have updated 24 months of work experience and now after continuation of service period we are updating 30 months of work experience, for final merit list, updated months of experience will be considered? And do we have to select YES/ NO for “Whether the data provided in the CAT form is different from data you are providing now?” as previously provided data in CAT form was also correct at that time.

Thanks for your response. I had filled the form but not stated the reason exactly as mentioned by you. But have mentioned work ex (in months), and in wrong details column have mentioned previous work ex(31st July) and in actual details updated work ex(31st Jan). Will it be fine?
