Is this true? Is the management at IIM Rohtak really like this? Will I suffer if I decide to go for Rohtak. I don't want all my efforts to go to waste after I come to college.
I don't want to believe this but I am scared since B Leaks claims they have trusted source. Please clarify.
I am at obc CWL 41. Is it true that some people from waitlist 1 have been given offer already? does it mean I am in the 2nd list? I am very nervous about my chances of conversion.

Hey there, i just wanted to ask that i made the payment for Waitlist Willingness on 15th of May at about 9 pm because i was pretty confused with the options of Year and Fee Type, but it went through all right and i dropped an email to [email protected]. But since then, i have not got any email from them, not even any confirming of the payment. Is this normal and i should wait or am i supposed to contact them to resolve this issue with the college.
Can I get the OAA refund after 18th May i.e before the date of registration?
Adcom please reply, I have been waitlisted in SC Category CWL 05 and now I want to withdraw the amount that I have paid for waitlist as I haven't got an offer letter yet. Hey I just want to know about education loan. After paying OAA can we pay the rest of the amount by taking an education loan. What is the procedure for loan??? Can we get loan from the campus at the time of early registration?? Please do reply.. it's urgent.

1. Earlier, the Registration on 2nd June was optional as posted by the admin on 16th May.
Hello Everyone,
It is to inform you that IIM Rohtak is doing an early registration on June 2, 2019 ( Sunday) between 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Also, kindly note that this early registration is optional. There will be an another registration on 29th June. If a candidate registers and withdraws after 2nd June, only 20K will be deducted. You ensure your seat and visit campus.
But Now they are saying that it is mandatory for the students to come to the campus and do the registration. Decision Changed within 2 days.
2. Those who Registers on 2nd June will have to pay 3.86L (3L- term fee, 45k - Mess Charges) and 41k- Other Charges). If anyone withdraws after June 2nd, no refund will be paid as written in the Quesries Page.
Is this a NewIIM or a NautankiIIM? NMIMS was and is known for playing with students money but now even IIM's have started.
First of all, IIM Rohtak is not following the AICTE rules, which they should and now no refund of 3.86L after June 2nd.
There are a lots of students who are waitlisted in much better B schools(FMS, MDI etc.) and will convert after June 2nd.
I would like to request to the Admission Committee to put themselves into our shoes and put forward this thought to the Admission Office. I would also like to request to the people who have already converted IIM Rohtak to stand up for this Injustice and tell AO about their pathetic Admission policies.

There is a lot of talk going on about choosing IIM Rohtak if you want finance because it has CFA affiliation. Let's break that myth. There are 12 universities with CFA affiliation: IIM Bangalore IIM Indore IIM Trichy IIM Rohtak Christ University Flame University Institute of Finance and International Management NISM SCMHRD TAPMI DU - MBA in financial management What is one thing in common for all the above colleges? None are exactly Mecca of finance. For example, IIMC - the best college for finance does not have CFA affiliation. It doesn't mean they get lesser cream recruiters. The better barometer to check the finance roles offered in a campus is to look at the recruiters. You can open the placement report and see the recruiters to compare between B-schools. The essential point I'm making is these affiliations don't count. The recruiters that come to campus do. So make your decision wisely only after thorough research.

This post is not being written with a vengeance on any one but it will help the aspirants make a better decision. Please spare your valuable 5 minutes to read this post.
Analysis of the placement report of IIM Rohtak:
The analysis is for the audited placement report of Final Placement 2017-18, because the report for 2018-19 is just ‘submitted for audit’ but not actually audited plus it doesn’t really have any noteworthy data except a page of graphics which don’t really convey anything.
One important observation before going into the analysis, Rohtak says 142 students are placed from the institute, data of 136 students is given but this table only contains 132. The other 4 are the international offers.
Lowest Package: 5.29 LPA (Yes you saw it right, 5 lakh rupees in the consulting domain for a student hired from IIM)
Though the college might portray that the max package is 30 lakhs, the next highest is 14.9 lakhs. The minimum packages of various domains like Telcom, Pharma, Manufacturing is barely 6-7 lakhs.
For a college that tells they are CFA certified every chance they get, it is disappointing to see 20 students’ places under 9.75 lakh and a minimum package of 6.5 lakh in BFSI domain
There are many students placed under 7 lakhs. This screenshot is the Maximum Earning Potential which means it includes fixed, variable and all other components, so in hand salary is even lower. There are people with 4 LPA fixed component (check the fixed component in the report in consulting domain). I have never heard any IIM where student gets 4 lakh after two years.

Other observations about IIM Rohtak:
1) Initially they charged 20k just for letting people know the waitlist number which by the way they did not reveal yet.
2) The unusual weightage given to gender; I get that it’s your policy on how to set the criteria but the management should know that its not sitting well with the aspirants.
3) Registration made mandatory on June 2nd if you have converted Rohtak and have to pay a total of 4 lakh rupees nonrefundable. This questions the motive of the institute, maybe they are scared no one will join if they have the registration at a later date like any other decent institute.
4) The process is not transparent at all and answer to every question to adcom is IIM Rohtak doesn’t have to follow AICTE norms and then they say no one is forcing you to join.
Message to Adcom:
You are right, no one is forcing me to join. To hell with Rohtak, I am out of here. I don’t even care about the 20k anymore. I am done.
